Former manager of Ducati World Superbike team, Davide Tardozzi, sponsor Casey Stoner as the best drivers in the Moto GP, better than the champion Valentino Rossi.
After leaving the Superbike team, Tardozzi targeting a place at the Ducati MotoGP team management. The opportunities open after Livio Suppo, Ducati MotoGP directors intend to resign, but Tardozzi prefer a more lucrative offer from BMW.
"Frankly, MotoGP stay close to me, so if I get a chance, I'll take it ...," said Tardozzi to gpone.com. "The new legislation would restore the capacity of a 1000cc motor, it will again become the king of MotoGP racing again."
Although the label has switched from Ducati to BMW on this winter, Tardozzi still provide support to his former team.
"Ducati has the best drivers in the championship, Casey Stoner, I'm sure it was. New regulations that reduce the number of trials will benefit him, he just needs a lap to adapt, "he said.
Stoner, who had been a world champion in 2007, going through a bleak period in 2009 due to a mysterious disease. Yet he still could maintain its position at number four won the standings with four victories.
