Vettel Pole-Position Seize GP Japan Qualifying
Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel took pole position to 12th this season by being the fastest in the qualifying round of the GP Japan at Suzuka.
These results certainly infuriated McLaren and drivers, Jenson Button, who mastered the record the best time in the three free practice sessions ahead of kualfikasi. Button's teammate, Lewis Hamilton, became the fastest in Qualifying Round of the second (Q2) and in early Q3.

But the record time of 1 minute 30.617 seconds was eventually able to defeat Hamilton Vettel with 1 minute 30.466 seconds. Button had time to catch up, but still lagging 0.009 seconds off Vettel, who only need one more point to lock the title of 2011.
Ferrari duo Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso occupying the fourth and fifth starting position, followed by fellow Vettel, Mark Webber, behind him.
Michael Schumacher of Mercedes GP chose not to participate in Q3 as part of its strategy to save the tires, while his teammate, Nico Rosberg was unable to qualify from Q1 due to hydraulic problems.
Racing will commence from Sunday at 13:00 pm.
