Soderling Beat Federer in the 2010 Opening Tournament

Robin Soderling finally managed to topple Roger Federer after the 13th time they met. This victory brought both Soderling advanced to the World Championship Tennis finals Capitala.

Soderling could benefit because doing 'warming' the day before by beating Stanislas Wawrinka in the exhibition tournament's big prizes.

But Federer is just playing the first time won the first set tie-brak through and then win the first game in the second set.

Soderling who appear more vibrant after reaching his first grand slam final in France last season, could break the sixth game and equalized before finally winning the second tie-break.

Soderling eventually won the match with a 6-7 victory (6 / 8) 7-6 (7 / 1) 6-2.

25-year-old tennis player said, "I always say, the more often I play against him, the more I approach the ability to beat, now I make it happen."

"So far everything went well, but this season will be long, I hope I can meet Roger a few more times," hope Soderling.

Federer express his opinion on the game early in the year 2010, "obviously difficult to start a game against him, but I'm happy.
