Bernard Hopkins lost a TKO of Chad Dawson
World champion Bernard Hopkins lost the WBC light heavyweight after being defeated in a controversial TKO of Chad Dawson, Saturday (Sunday pm).
Bernard Hopkins stated rodne second TKO defeat in the battle which took place at the Staples Center, Los Angeles. 46-year-old boxer dinyatkan TKO referee Pat Russell lost because he refused to continue the fight.

The incident began in the mid second round. Dawson, 29, slammed his opponent's 46-year-old at the edge of the ring. Hopkins who claimed shoulder injury unable to continue the fight.
Rather than declare no contest, Russell immediately leave the decision to the jury who then decides Dawson did not do anything wrong and unfounded regulatory commissions of California, Dawson declared TKO win.
With this result, Hopkins holds the record as the oldest boxer to win world record of 52-6-2 with 32 knockouts, while Dawson 31-1 18 KOs record.
After the fight, Dawson refused to face Hopkins rematch and more memlih boxer Jean Pascal.
