Naoki Matsuda Dies

Naoki Matsuda Dies - The former Japan national team players, Naoki Matsuda, died on Thursday (4/8), two days after suffering a heart attack during the middle of practice, the source of the news agency Kyodo reported.
Matsuda died at the age of 34 years. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition after collapsing during practice last Tuesday with his fellow club teams from Matsumoto Yamaga.

He has defended the Japanese national team 40 times, including at the World Cup 2002 in Japan and South Korea. He has played 385 matches in the competition for the J-League Yokohama F. Marinos in 1995-2010.
Naoki Matsuda suddenly fainted after practicing for 15 minutes on Tuesday and then doctors have confirmed the heart attack.
