In a poll of 442 people interviewed, 67 percent of respondents rate Maradona should not train the national team of Argentina. Only 22 percent of respondents are supportive Maradona.
Argentina lost four of six games under the tutelage Maradona this year. Blue-White team was slipped into the fifth position of the United States 10 countries who fought for tickets to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Argentina will face Peru in a cage on October 10 and Uruguay on the Montevidio four days later. The last two games are very important for Argentina to at least remain entrenched in fifth place standings. If you remain in fifth position, Argentina will face a playoff against the fourth place CONCACAF zone to fight a ticket to South Africa.
