Hengkangnya Briatore and Symonds was related investigation into the accident of their driver Nelson Piquet Jr. at the Singapore Grand Prix, last season. The accident was considered to be deliberate by Piquet Jr., Brazilian racing driver who is also son Nelson Piquet F1 legend, making his team mate Fernando Alonso finally won the first race on the track that held the highway that night.
"The team announced, head of the team director Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds engine decided to quit," the brief statement Renault, the French team.
Renault parties have inspected the International Automobile Federation (FIA) at the beginning of this week, and will make a defense on 21 September. If the accusation is true, Renault threatened expelled from the race event that land the jet.
This case broke after Piquet Jr Renault kicked in last July, because it is not showing the best performance. After firing, the rumors were asked to Piquet Jr. crashed into the side wall of the track, so Alonso - the double world champion - finally a winner in the Singapore GP 2008. Although Renault was always denied, even ready to demand Piquet Jr, the case continued to roll until sidelined two of the team frontman Briatore and Symonds.
